Mummy's Day

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching with just five days left, it’s time to get your mum something she really deserves.

There are plenty of original ideas out there to suit each and every mum.  From personalised nail polish to a beautiful bouquet of flowers, there’s plenty to choose from, but sometimes it just makes it harder to pick the right thing! 9 times out of 10 they love what you do for them regardless, remember ‘it’s the thought that counts.’

I went into one of the independent shops in Farnham to see what gifts what gifts were popular this year for Mothers Day.

But if you’re really stuck for ideas, not to fear I have whittled it down to 5 of the best gifts to buy your mum this year.

Firstly chocolates. Who doesn’t love indulging in chocolate, you can go simple or a little more out the box with these:
Harvey Nichols £16.95
sherbetpip.co.uk £4.99

Harvey Nichols £6.75

Next on the list is home décor. I decided on candles. Like chocolates there are so many options to choose from to suit her style. You could go quirky or you could go classic:
Etsy £10.88

Etsy £8.00

Thirdly is jewellery, this pendent is the perfect gift for mums who love to be spoilt with a bit of jewellery, you can also make it personalised with her initials.

Etsy £15.64

Then we have Perfume. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh, the reinterpretation of the original Daisy is fresh and warm with fruity summer scents. The bottle is a light pink, taller and slimmer, making it very girly and perfect for mothers day.

Boots £48.00

Lastly, but definitely not least, purses/handbags. If you really want to please your mum this year, you could buy her a purse or a bag

Accessorize £39.00
Radley £39.00

Some of these gifts are admittedly a little pricey, but if you have siblings it can be a good idea to all pitch in and buy something really great this mothers day.
