With the economy as it is, we want to look good for less and
it’s really not that hard. Charity shop shopping/eBay is the answer.

Some may turn their noses up at this, but others will agree
it is the future! Most charity shops look like they’re filled with junk and
unfashionable clothing, but they can be made into something new and you can really
hit the jackpot.
It’s so easy to find great stuff for cheap. Say you find a
skirt which is 2 sizes too big, take it in, cut it up, and use the fabric for
something else. There will always be something for someone; you just need to
know how to look.
Fashion today is all about bringing back the old and making
it new, it’s so common to see people looking like they’ve just stepped out of a
time machine but that’s ok, the majority of them look great…mostly
Replacing your whole wardrobe with reused clothes isn’t necessary
but do give charity shop shopping a try if you don’t already. Remodelling old
clothes is a great way to identify your own style.
Kirsti Koo a fellow blogger used to upcycled old clothes when she went Charity shop shopping. She told us her number one rule was dont buy anything that you cant fix yourself i.e shoes or that has stains in. She also said 'try to look for
quality in clothing/ bags/shoes e.g. silk &leather
or good quality wool. Try not to buy anything JUST because it's cheap.
Obviously the price is important but there should always be one more reason
than money.' (Kirsti is a lifestyle blogger so if you want to find out more take a look on her blog sugardumblady.wordpress.com)
With 50’s hair, 80’s clothes
and 90’s colours you can’t go too wrong. Find a cute blouse that’s maybe too
big and upcycle it making it into a dress, there are so many things you can do
and find some real bargains.
Happy shopping!
