The Golden Globes 2013

On Sunday night in L.A we had the 70^th Golden Globe Awards and as always the Stars looked amazing. The ceremony was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who both looked their best and were quite the pair. They started the show with a hilarious opening monologue, getting everyone ready for a great night.

The pair were both against each other for the award of Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical. After the award went to Lena Dunham in Girls, Tina Fey says ‘time to start drinking’ followed by Amy Poehler saying ‘Everybodys getting a little loose now that we’re all losers!’

As for the winners of the night, Adele arrived on the red carpet in a Burberry long black gown, with a classy up-do. She was later shocked by receiving an award for Skyfall in Best Original Song. When accepting the award she says ‘Honestly, I've come out for a night out with my friend Ayda. We're new Mums. We've literally come for a night out, I was not expecting this.’

Jennifer Lawrence won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion picture, Comedy or Musical in Silver Linings Playbook. The actress wore a Christian Dior Couture red strapless gown, with a silver clutch and loose up-do.

Then we have Anne Hathaway who wore a long white Chanel Couture peplum gown. Anne also wore subtle make up, making sure not to overdo it with her short pixie haircut. She won Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture in Les Misérables. On receiving her award she gives recognition to the other women in the category by saying ‘And thank you for putting me, my work, in this category with great and gutsy actresses: Amy [Adams], Nicole [Kidman], Helen [Hunt] and Sally [Field].’
